Tick Removal Key

Truly an invaluable tool for anyone who spends even the smallest amount of time in the outdoors. In our experience no other tick removal device is as simple and effective to use, let alone being compact, durable, and with no moving parts! We consider this an essential piece of kit for folks living in tick country. 

Many common folk remedy removal methods like using a match or smothering the tick in oil, alcohol, or other chemicals will cause the tick to regurgitate into the bite, meaning if it's carrying Lyme or other diseases you've just guaranteed your own infection. Tweezers allow the safe, manual removal of the tick, but risk squeezing the abdomen or ripping the tick in half, leaving its head embedded in the skin. The Tick Key, by contrast, simply slips over the tick, and a gentle sliding tug safely removes it, without risk of causing regurgitation or decapitation, and works even on extremely small tick nymphs that are difficult to remove by other means.
