The Companion is an aptly named knife--the versatile blade shape and comfortable handle with rubber over-mold make for a combination that's hard to put down! The sturdy plastic sheath features a gentle click-in retention, drainage hole, and clip that allows for easy attachment to a belt or backpack. The tough 1095 high carbon steel blade takes and holds a fine edge while resisting the rigors of hard use. This HeavyDuty version features a significantly thicker blade and a wider grip for additional leverage when breaking from the cut. Because the blade is uncoated carbon steel, it may rust if not cared for.
