A phenomenal all-around utility blade for hunting, bushcraft, or camping, the Tavian is a hybrid of features found in different popular classes of outdoor sporting knives. A thin high hollow saber grind and convex edge makes woodworking and carving tasks a breeze yet the 1/8" stock thickness allows it to still slice well for food prep around camp. The fine point makes detail work and drilling/piercing work an easy task and the clip point with indexing crest make it well suited for dressing game.
If selecting the Special Grade option we will thin and refine the factory edge. Please note that this is NOT a conversion of the saber grind to a "scandi grind," but rather an improvement to the thin factory saber grind configuration. If planning a full scandi conversion this will speed up the conversion process, however.
